Donations

Cetos Research Organization is not-for-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status. We currently have two office headquarters, our original office, now known as Cetos Atlantic in the State of Maine, and our new office Cetos Pacific based in Washington State. Our non-profit status allows for your donations to be completely tax-deductible. We rely on the generosity of private donors, foundations, organizations, and individuals, all of whom contribute to our success.

Contributions go mainly to support field research efforts, which are directed towards conservation and increasing knowledge for endangered species management. Some funding where possible goes to the dissemination of our data findings and information (via newsletters, our website, and scientific presentations), and to day to day operations, so that we can meet our mission statement and relay the information we acquire in a timely fashion. All monies go towards our ultimate goal of educating people and groups to minimize impacts at sea. Our senior scientist sand staff scientists are predominantly volunteers; there are no salaried employees at Cetos. We know that there are so many worthy causes, and we greatly appreciate your support.
