Cetos Research Organization is not-for-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status. We currently have two central office headquarters, our original office, now known as Cetos Atlantic in the State of Maine, and our Cetos Pacific headquarters in California with a satellite office in Hawai’i. Our non-profit status allows for your donations to be completely tax-deductible. We rely on the generosity of private donors, foundations, organizations, and individuals, all of whom contribute to our success.
Your contributions go to support field research and data reporting efforts. Our goals are to support conservation and increase knowledge of endangered species management.
Some funding, if remaining, goes to the dissemination of information (via newsletters, our website, and scientific presentations), and to day to day operations, so that we can meet our mission statement and relay the information we acquire in a timely fashion.
All monies donated support our goal of educating people and groups about minimizing human impact on marine life. Our senior scientists and staff scientists are predominantly volunteers; there are no salaried employees at Cetos.
We know that there are many worthy causes, and we greatly appreciate your support.
